Madrid, September 12th, 2024 – Plaza Felipe II in Madrid is set to host a unique sporting event: the Hexagon Cup exhibition. From September 15th to 22nd, this iconic square will transform into the heart of padel, where fans and professional players will gather to enjoy exciting matches and book time on the innovative Hexagon Court by Portico Sport.
This initiative serves as a preview of the second edition of the Hexagon Cup, which will take place at the Madrid Arena between January and February 2025. Following the overwhelming success of the first edition, this event rekindles the competitive spirit and passion for the sport.
The court set up in Plaza Felipe II is an exact replica of the one that will be used in the official tournament from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025 which made a groundbreaking debut in the first edition. Developed in collaboration with Portico Sport, it is the only padel court in the world with a purple artificial turf, the signature color of Hexagon Cup, providing a unique shade that enhances ball visibility and player experience.
This one-of-a-kind design not only adds a distinctive and elegant touch but also facilitates more precise and dynamic play. It is equipped with custom-designed lighting for optimal conditions, ensuring matches can be played in perfect settings.
The Hexagon Court is more than just a playing surface – it’s an experience. With a firm structure and personalized details, it’s designed to offer players an unmatched sensation.
